The Town With Unsinkable Spirit

Named for Falmouth, Virginia, this northern Kentucky town was first settled in 1780. Once a booming lumber and tobacco producer, Falmouth has continually been plagued by flooding throughout its history. The most recent flood delivered a devastating blow to the town in 1997. However, like any town with heart, Falmouth has bounced back, looking to restore its former glory and usher in a bright future. Both the Pendleton County Fair and the Kentucky Wool Festival are held in Falmouth year after year.
