Where History is Just the Beginning
The capital city of Kentucky, Frankfort is a living, breathing history book. Established in 1786, it was made the capital a mere six years later. Historic Frankfort Cemetery is the burial location of famous frontiersman Daniel Boone. Both the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Kentucky Military History Museum are located in Frankfort.
