Established in 1818, Hodgenville in LaRue County is famous for being the birthplace of 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Those looking for a history lesson will appreciate the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site, the Lincoln Museum, and the Lincoln Boyhood Home.
