Full of Activity and Full of Life
Hyden, Kentucky, the county seat of Leslie County, was founded in 1878 and named for state Senator John Hyden. The town is full of activity and is full of life. The school system is one of the most modern in the state. The city is served by US 421, KY 80, and the Daniel Boone Parkway. Hyden is also the hometown of Tim Couch, the University of Kentucky standout quarterback who was the No. 1 NFL draft pick of 1999.
