The Heart of the Bluegrass

Horses, history and hospitality all in one beautiful town! Just a short, scenic 17-mile trip from Lexington, Paris, Kentucky features glorious rolling pastures and a town full of shopping and historic sights! Named after the city in France, it was founded in 1789. Numerous horse farms sprinkle the countryside of Bourbon County, giving the area the sort of natural grace and beauty one would expect from such a historic Kentucky town. Two of Paris' most famous natives are Garrett Morgan, who invented the tri-color traffic light, and Triple Crown race winning horse Secretariat. With plenty of festivals and other events year-round, homegrown hospitality abounds within the lovely town of Paris!
